Marriage is hard work. Apparently, even more challenging than maintaining celebrity status. Sister Size 8 has officially upgraded from gospel artist to motivational speaker—and her target audience? Women who find themselves navigating the stormy seas of separation.
“Been There, Prayed That”: Size 8’s Reality Check
In her reality show Love In The Wild, Size 8 (real name: Linet Munyali) decided it was time to drop some wisdom nuggets for women whose marriages have hit a dead-end. Forget judgment—she’s all about prayers and positive vibes.
“Remember that your identity is first in Christ,” she said, channeling her inner preacher. “People should focus on praying for these women instead of passing judgment.”
Since parting ways with DJ Mo, Size 8 has been dealing with the public’s favorite pastime—bullying. She admits it hasn’t been a walk in the park.
“People don’t even know half my story,” she lamented, clearly exhausted. “I’ve drawn strength from God Almighty.”
“Before you rush to judge, maybe try praying instead. You have no idea what someone’s going through.”
Encouragement for the Married and the Miserable
Size 8 didn’t stop at comforting separated women. She’s also got a word (or several) for those still holding on in marriage despite being buried under the weight of frustration.
“If you’re married and feeling depressed, don’t give up. There’s a ministry of healing. Cling to Jesus, and you’ll see light at the end of the tunnel.”
She made it clear—marriage is divine and God himself is the architect. But sometimes, even divine blueprints seem to get lost in construction.
“I Tried Everything”: Size 8 on Her Own Separation
Size 8 didn’t just jump ship on a whim. According to her, she tried every option before finally asking for separation. The singer insists that her decision doesn’t mean she’s given up on marriage entirely. In fact, she’s holding out hope for a possible reconciliation.
“Separation doesn’t mean I no longer believe in marriage. If God chooses to reconcile us, that would be my dream.”
Her advice to women? Exhaust every possible solution before considering separation.
The Fine Line Between Separation and Divorce
She emphasized that separation isn’t the same as divorce, and that people should avoid rushing into the latter.
“Don’t be quick to seek divorce. Separation should only lead to divorce if absolutely nothing changes.”
Size 8 clarified that her decision was tough but necessary. At this point, she says separation is the healthiest option, though she remains open to reconciliation.
“I’m not bitter. I made the best decision for where I’m at, and I’m okay with it. But, if reconciliation happens, I’m ready for it.”
She wrapped it up by asking her fans to keep her and DJ Mo in their prayers because, in her words, “prayer works better than gossip.”
