Nominated Senator Karen Nyamu has no qualms about dating a younger man, often referred to as a “Ben 10.”
In a recent video that made rounds on social media, she openly shared her thoughts. She emphasized that her consideration isn’t about age but rather about the dynamics of dependency.
She admitted considering dating a “Ben 10” and clarified it’s not about age, but about dependency.
“A ‘Ben 10’ is all about dependency. It’s about a man relying on you. Sure, he’s younger, but he can still be hardworking,” Nyamu explained with a smile.
However, she was quick to set the record straight about the father of her children.
“People often mistake the father of my kids for a ‘Ben 10.’ Let me clear this up—he’s definitely not,” she stated firmly.
Nyamu, a mother of three, recently shared her views on what “real girls” want, keeping it light and relatable.
“Real girls don’t ask for much—just food, time, and attention,” she quipped.
Interestingly, Nyamu has kept a low profile regarding her relationship with singer Samidoh recently, a shift from previous years. Just a few weeks back, Samidoh reunited with his wife, Edday Nderitu, and their children in the US.
Edday took to Instagram to express her heartfelt appreciation for Samidoh’s dedication to their family.
“Thank you for being a loving father to our family. Your unwavering support, guidance, and unconditional love mean everything to us. You work tirelessly to give us a comfortable life, and your dedication doesn’t go unnoticed,” Edday wrote in her touching post.
She added with genuine warmth:
“We’re grateful for the sacrifices you make and the time we get to spend together as a family. Today and every day, we celebrate your kindness, patience, and devotion. We love you more than words can express.”
